Literacy for a Lifetime™ is a matching grant program partnering Educational Development Corporation (EDC) with businesses, foundations, and individuals to support literacy & learning, and our national, district and local educational institutions.  EDC is the leading publisher of children’s non-fiction books in the United States.

How to place the order...
Once you have received the grant or donation funds in line,
     Step 1 - Make the list of books you'd like, including a list of the 50% free items.
                          Sorry, no Internet Sets or Internet Specials on matching grant orders.
     Step 2 - Fill out the grant info form with shipping address & payment information.
     Step 3 - Mail or fax to the Point of Contact above

We accept Purchase Orders, requests for invoicing, checks (payable to Usborne Books) & credit cards - Mastercard, Visa, & Discover.

What types of orders qualify?
Any orders paid for with funds from grants, gifts or donations - not part of the regular budget.

Donations made to the educational institution are tax deductible for corporations, foundations, and individuals.
There are over 2000 Usborne and Kane Miller titles to choose from, with varied subjects and multiple binding options, as well as Kid Kits which include something special with the book to enhance the educational experience, and "Learning Wrap-Ups" and "Learning Palettes".  Reading & Math Center Kits for K - 4th grade are available.

No maximum cap on orders to be matched for 2009!

$200 minimum LFL order to get 50% free books and free shipping.
You may combine smaller orders submitted together & to be shipped together to reach the $200 (such as PTA funds for teachers).
